Foot Stuck in The Mud

Remember
The wisp of crisp air
Youth wasted with a sharp cocktail

Was it not yesterday?
The salty temptation
Was like love, simple and clean

We were young before
And today we tell the stories
Of our youth with zealous hearts
Like tomorrow doesn't matter

Like pretend old souls
Who lived all that’s left...

No wonder...

I have my foot stuck in the mud

I like the feeling of this one. That first drink can lead to a very long sip. Just a heads up...you might want to check spelling. Peace.
