Hush

Mother moon is rising,
as the beam of crescent silver blankets the lands.
All is quiet and in peaceful harmony,
while I sit patiently in tranquil silence.
Soaking in every last drop of the illuminating ray,
I feel a sense of calmness, collectiveness, and being,
as I remain in awe of the luna god.

Lost are my words, my lips locked tight,
for I have been wrapped in warm, endless light.

Hush

Bobby,

There, it should be better to read now! I used black font, always good to go with a dark, midnight poem!

Thanks for the concern,

steavenr -

Thanks for the wonderful comment, my intentions seemed to be very clear. I wanted to write something that was very zen and peaceful.

Marchmadness, excellent, that was my goal! I was hoping that after reading this poem that people would feel the same way.

Thanks Artic Wind,

That's better.  It's a lovely idea for a poem, and it works well.

Dear Michael, how nice to see you are back and with such a beautiful, serene poem. I feel wrapped in the "endless light" together with you too ...

Love and hugs.

The picture is beautiful.  But I WANTED your poem to have the same effect.  I had to keep on looking at your picture to feel something.  Sometimes the words should say something for themselves without visual.

Your poem lost me.  I stayed lost.
