One
plus one
does away
with One

so, we kick
the moon about
while straddling
the sun

Dead roots sprout
Dry streams run

in a bed
of sleepless dream

waking bodies lay
blessing bloody goblets

Meat joins hands
to pray

A dead child lives
all of your days

in a place
where shadows scheme

Death makes
a Bucket List

The brightest angel
ever shown
comes from the
dark abyss

Sticks and stones
wont break his bones

Destroy him
with a kiss

Ten thousand
hymns are sung
to hide the scream

of a small,
still voice

I loved both the form and content of this one...the style, the cadence, its visual appearance, word choices all combine to make this one powerful write...

Really like this. Lots of great lines, but "Meat joins hands / to pray" really grabbed me.
