                 first light of Spring

fair Earth …

what joys and beauty dance
with the sun swept morning mist
and a breeze through early cherry blossoms
in this first special light of Spring?

Teach us to taste these simple, sunrise-
   songbird melodies
with grateful humility and infinite respect
for all we shall never truly know; control;
nor own!

Sounding good and true. Peace to you and yours.

I don't think everyone sees the beauty of nature in the same way, Bruce. To have such a wonderful appreciation of our world is truly a blessing, One that I am thankful for every day.

I am aching with the beauty of Spring, poet,
and you speak it well.

Bruce,,this reads like a homage or prayer to the beauty we can never or should never control...thank you for the beauty contained within..
