~By Melissa Long-Monette Soul Kiss Senryu  I shall breathe you in savour your heart's quintessence and never exhale Moonlight Serenade Haiku Moonlight is dancing upon lover's silhouettes love song from heaven Perfect Kiss Senryu  Synchronicity one moment of perfection when our heartbeats kiss Love's Invitation Senryu Your fingers trace me as your eyes drink in my curves you ask without words Wedding Senryu  Two hearts joined as one wedding vows sealed with a kiss one perfect moment Rain Dream Haiku Soft rain serenades filling my soul with rapture as I dream of you Heart Eyes Senryu See not with your eyes but look at me with your heart feel that I love you Kindred Kiss Senryu Two lovers embrace true love's passion in a kiss a taste of heaven Soulmate Senryu We are dreams awake And I am your reflection you are my mirror Beautiful Kiss Senryu  Entwined hearts shall sing love's splendour in a soft kiss two souls left breathless *****A Haiku and a Senryu is a Japanese form of poetry consisting of three lines with 17 syllables in total; The most common format is 5-7-5 syllable lines. Haikus are nature themed. Senryus celebrate human behaviour OR tend to be cynical/ironic. |

Thank you Dixie and Bobby!  And Michael, then I shall dedicate it to you  lolIn fact, you're gonna laugh at the timing BUT I'm re-writing an old poem I wrote for you back in the day, no one probably remembers it.....but I'll post it soon! |

harummpphhh - you write poems for 'Deer and I'm left out in the cold. You could dedicate the Soulmate senryu to Balladeer, but I'm not sure you want him as a mirror. Just ask Dorian Gray. lol Your senryus and haikus are exquisitely written. |
