chocolate and vanilla
they aren't opposites
not even close

they're just different flavors.

Fall in love early, fall in love often.

This is cool stuff Paul.
I can read this in different ways, such as two lovers can be opposites but still attract, or describing the beauty of different lovers and how they are all so unique and amazing in their own special way.
Maybe I am wrong, or had too much coffee.

It's just a thought, and the thought can be applied to everything, really.

Fall in love early, fall in love often.

now as i think of it, we were brought up in the old days with the choice of chocolate or vanilla, so maybe we really were programmed to believe they were opposites indeed.

Variety is the spice of life and I love most flavors...good write here Paul

I guess it's a matter of taste, but how much we would miss either one, those complementray flavors can tempt the pickiest of appetites!     Interesting observation, Paul.

One of my daughters just served my some Neapolitan... I thought that was just one flavor.
