The room was dark, with just enough light to see well. She was old, sitting in an old arm chair. Often, after falling asleep, Bones would find himself in the room. He knew it was very real, and so was the old lady. He didn’t quite know how to approach her. How could he approach her without actually looking at her, looking in her eyes? Of course, he was mad with curiosity, even though he had looked in her eyes many times. Perhaps he was looking for something, but what? He walked around her chair, and as he had done so many times before, he looked into her eyes. He always found himself back in bed. Bobby |

This reminds me of a memory I have of an old man rocking on the sidewalk. My mother insists that there was no such man but who knows? A curious entry in the Bones saga. |
