In a state of disrepair...

Tequila, lime, and salted time
and  so sure I might be drinking lies
I wouldn't know now all sound is snow
Drifting through dark amber skies.

And what dream is this?
That eats and bites and still persists
A drink or four to fortify
and then shall I resist if you insist...

To fortify, you understand?
A buffer zone against defeat
Or at least admitting it...
Oh, and how it reeks of sh-!

Now I come to speak of it
It seems like a hollow lie.
In an emptily pleasant mind.
A crystal glass in which to die.

Each and every voice has become
a  wasted lifetime  in buzzing rhyme
Though I cannot hear the mime
or any word of meaning in the lines...

To fortify or forty five...
Who decides this salted time?

Hangovers are nature's way of preparing us for liver failure.

Yo Triskaidekaphobia,

Beware of the ides of April.

Cute little poem.
