Huan Yi, so rarely do I read a poem so profoundly beautiful with so few words---the melting snow, and the wood that decays, but in that decay is beauty, the continuity of generations, spring and summer, fall and winter, the comings and goings of this marvelous thing -- life! I am humbled -- Art |

. Thank you all, especially you gilead. I did not before appreciate this poem’s merit, being written in a spontaneous instant, which now again reinforces my conviction that good poems are not created but given by an author beyond our known selves. Thanks again John . |
