Forever In Your Heart

Blue is empty, void,
a vast ocean of words,
crumbled by silence,
as my heart sifts memories,

My fluorescent eyes scan,
roads of words, miles of them,
absent, forsaken, bare,
I am wrapped in loneliness.

What was precious at the moment,
was not fully seen with clarity,
on days most like today,
I see the value of them most,

Misty man, comes and goes,
his smile I see shinning,
sometimes he appears,
out of a cloud of blue,

Wanting to be one thought,
one word in his head,
just a drink of me,
will he thirst?

If one day he never appears,
all would be lost,
a sad day will have come,
that will be the day I die.

Very nice indeed.
Beautiful memories expressed in dreamlike fashion.
It's amazing how we can't see the forest for the trees sometimes.
Yep, if the memories however distant fade away then we have nothing.
Much enjoyed this piece.

Yes it is so true, sometimes when the world fades,
as a curtain being drawn,
and the day is all to yourself,
your mind is free to think,
of past memories that are sweet,
as pieces of candy from a heart box.

Thank you!
