Thought Less

Wondering
what is happening
feeling
it is punishment long overdue
becoming
imprisoned in one's mind

shadow dancing
the four corners
trying
to navigate purpose
for which
there are no words

with
mirrored existence
the only reality
while
just wanting
a day to call my own.

I guess everyone is looking for reality in this crazy thing called life which often seems unreal.  The final stanza is the best.

interesting 'write' !

"...becoming
imprisoned in one's mind

shadow dancing
the four corners
trying
to navigate purpose
for which
there are no words"

some major researchers argue that the human mind
(consciousness) 'creates' all internal and external
'reality' and that they are inextricably linked ...
[the 'biocentric'/Noetic paradigm (world view)] ...

           Reflections

Night falls in deep shadows,
all cares vanishing with the
  moonlit evening wind.
As multitudinous memories
dance the dreamscape of
  the mind,
how ‘real’ is space and time?
Perhaps there is only a
universal, immortal consciousness
of infinitely nested connections …
  and all is truly one.

Yo dear Nakdthoughts,

Every day is a day to call your own.  It's just hard to admit it, and to act on it.

Sometimes it's best not to call the day your own.

Love Bobby

Dear Maureen, what is this self punishment
rubbish, self satisfaction and happiness

is far more important than thinking about
self punishment. you are far to sweet a

person to stay in that frame of mind so
look up to the heavens and smile and be

happy. Count all your blessings Maureen
and I'll bet they far outweigh the sad

things in your life. Love and a big hug.

I think we all can relate to these feelings M but you express them and bear them bravely...thank you for doing so in this poem..

Thank you everyone. The last 4-5 months have kept me under a strange physical situation, which I may have mentioned in a response  a while ago about coughing and choking, gagging hourly etc... due to a  sinus drainage problem with no sleep more than an hour each  night with no relief.

After many trips back and forth to a family DR and no signs of  improvement, I chose to go to an allergist (although years ago I wasted  money on one just as I have been on the DR these last 5 months.)

Yesterday I was told by an allergist that he feels the blood pressure medicine I began taking last year may be causing the problem and  with some newer prescriptions feels this will help clear it up. I am waiting hopefully for that day~~

Thanks, Bill...what a difference a day  or a few make. I am almost back to being abnormally normal!
