Sing me a Song

sing me a song
one that’s starts my heart to feeling.
not a big production,
not a life changer,
just a little song
with a lot of emotion.

I am alone in this world,
I only hear my own thoughts
all day, every day.

Sit on my window ledge
little song bird and

sing me a song.

I really liked the last poem you posted, expiration. This one is good though in a different sense because it captures that same mellow blue mood, and yet still has an uplifting quality to it. I thought both were moving though.

Mixing Bowl Blues

Stirring...a little midnight hour turning
Deep blue it seems, never  the dreams
in sunlight to see

Stirring... a little momentary burning, a drop of passion to the mood of alone...will exude pheramone...might it be, an intensely pleasing recipe

Stirring...as the midnight hour turning might describe in perspective anew, some intense rondezvous

The color of moods blend discerning
Suddenly in a song, upbeat strings you along...an intentional touch of divine...where the blue and the red stir the wine.

Fun!

May you hear that little song ... there is always a tune in the air, I assure you.

Finde deine Worte sehr schön, obwohl so melancholisch.

Love,

I guess everyone wants a lovable little bird to sing to them.  No high drama just a tiny tune that brings happiness to all.

Put out some birdseed and you will have a whole flock of birds and you will forget that you are alone.

Love this! I think everyone wants a melody like this~~

At first I thought this was a poem to a new lover:
"sing me a song
one that’s starts my heart to feeling.
not a big production,
not a life changer,
just a little song
with a lot of emotion."

Irregardless I loved the sweet twist at the ending....

Zeigeist - I'll get out my guitar and sing you a song full of the blues. Listen for it...

thanks all for your kind replies and words of advice. Most of you hit upon my theme for this write. When things are really hard and your dragging your feet, pulling the same ole weight day after day, sometimes just one kind gesture, or a little toon that lifts your spirits really goes along way to helping you though it. Quite often it is you all here on PiP that are the givers of the toon and kind words and for that I can't thank you all enough.
