Tuesday I met you in the park
Alone and traveling in the dark
The way the world is meant for me
Amazing how spilt wine
Creates a passage in time
That will forever be in my dreams

A blinded smile
A bleeding hand
One wonders what forces might be at play
A simple question
Leads to a digression
That no one is prepared to say

Bergman is what attracted us
The shadows and the lonely lust
Such a serendipitous confrontation
Imaginations and libations
Nothing more than a simple human lie
But a lie is good if you know you should

Suddenly you were taken from me
Your aura, your dreams, your delicacy
Our eyes met while frozen in time
Your tears spoke volumes
But I could not cry
Cold to everything in the sky

Tuesday was my final day
At least that is what my heart would say
Her existence forever pervades my mind
A challenge that grows with passing time
Happiness understands the dreams of regret
But I only understand the day that we met

I liked how you kept bringing time back into it, it threaded the whole thing together, and going from "spilt wine" to "libations" was also a cool shift.
