They return
(most do)

if just to say hi
(check in)

or just a...
(peek-a-boo)

ponder perhaps...
(what if)

What they don't know
(well, most)

is that once they're loved...

They're loved...
(for good)

no matter what they've done
(no matter how we've separated)

The feelings never change
(it always comes down to two simple questions)

Will you accept the love?
(Will you return it?)

Yo Martiniat8,

That's the way it usually is.  Always a little wishful thinking.
