Nothingness, sweet Nothingness,
Come wash over me
Coarse through tired veins
To once again bleed

Nothing lasts forever
But everything has an end
Even if twice removed from it
Can’t escape this downward trend

I feel angry; I feel happy
As I blister, burn, and peel
I feel every opposing emotion
If only I could just not feel

It’s a most impossible desire
To want the warmth of Nothing
Oh how nice in the dark
And the sweet comfort it brings

To freeze all the senses
And lie in Nothing’s embrace
To take no more chances,
And hide in the shadow of my face

Give me a place with no more words
No more feelings, and no more hurt

i feel the pain emanating from this poem. i have been there my friend, and have posted a few of my poems from that time. you are not alone. the pain is what helps us be stronger.  it will pass, no matter how dark a depth u peer into.  *hugs* to you.
