Pleasure of the Aftertaste

Nothing taste as
delicious as an apple,
except for you
and the taste
of your delicious kiss.
Must be the effort
you put into it
and the pleasure
of the aftertaste.

... must be the love that tastes so deliciously!

I think I will have an apple now.

Very nice.

Like silent thunder! then so sensuous, the taste (essence) that lingers after the kiss. A powerful write, James.

A clever metaphor.  I will never think of apples in the same way!
