My hands were like miniature moons
covered in callouses, a few craters
some minerals on my fingertips
and a little deep below the surface.

My hands were like miniature moons
orbiting your hips and thighs
circling and circling the woman parts
heating, and melting my minerals.

I was like a planet, in the dark
large, covered in salt water
orbiting you with purpose.

I was like a planet, in the dark
with a magma center, molten rock and desire.

You were like the sun
and the rest was unimportant.

As always, Paul, you leave me thinking how much your poetry touches me.  Working man words - I like that about you.

I read them all, Paul.  Just slow about responding sometimes.  Wrote on a lot of them last night.  You are among my very favorite poets!
