For some,
it seems,
the door
is slightly ajar
so that they
are able to see
as much light
as we are allowed.
For others
the door
is tightly closed
and locked.
There is no key.
It's just as well.
The room is dark.

Thank you,  Bruce and Rich. I haven't been writing much lately. I need to get back on track.

Dear Ida, keep well clear of that room

that is locked and dark, it's not a good place to be. Take care, love,

Lindsay

Dear Ida,

I've had interesting, and sometimes fun experiences in photographic dark rooms.

I have missed you!  Good to see you here again.

I think I'm reverting to childhood, I don't like closed doors or dark rooms... scary! Nor do I want to be in one that holds dark things.  This is very effective.  The power of suggestion and thought, but is ignorance bliss or just a place to stumble around until the light dawns?

hmmm....

Ida,

Funny thing - you always bring the sunshine to my day when you are here.  Honest and truly.

Thank you all for your comments. I have been reading but not writing much lately. I have to work on that.

Well the time away from writing certainly didn't hurt you none. I like this alot. All rooms hold something even the dark ones. Someday that flashlight will work for ya.

Much love.

Very powerful imagery, dear Ida! I don't like dark rooms either, though sometimes I find myself trapped temporaneously in one, but I never forget the presence of Light and I force my will to unlock the door that holds it from my view and experience.

It's great that you are back you know!

Love,
Margherita

Hurry, get that key and open that damn door and let the sun shine in.  Don't stay in the dark, there is a whole world out there full of sun shine. Look for it. Seek and ye shall find.
