The Children of Zorro Shall Sing

Hard sought words
He fought from his pen
Taut thoughtful words
He brought forth from his pen
Unthoughtful terse words
He wrought from his steely pen

Pretty pretty little words
Petty petty little words
Coexisting side by side
Side by side they dwell
His own personal heaven and hell
Words of sugar and spice
Some good but most not nice

***Listen carefully children***
For the children of Zorro
Shall now sing

He`s a bad poet
Cause his grammar`s grime
He`s a bad poet
Cause he don`t rhyme rhyme
He`s a bad poet
Cause his rhythm breaks time
Over and over and over again
Bad poet

***Listen carefully children***
For the children of the Bard
Shall now sing

He`s a sad poet
Cause his heart`s unsaid
He`s a sad poet
Nothin but an egghead
He`s a sad poet
Cause he`s still unread
Over and over and over again
Sad poet

With his hard sought words
Spawned from an uncooperative pen

I like your sense of humor. It's a good
poet who will poke fun at himself.

I loved the word play, humour, intellectual cynicism, vigour, sincerity and success of this poem, but most of all I loved the vibrant life and burst of song and indefatigable optimism.  Bravo!

Thank you for replying to my Takahira Yashima Hiroyuka Tomita in Archives 43.  I have left a reply there for you, but put it in an email too in case you didn't go back there.

Wow, that is amazing. I am at a loss for words. That's not usual for myself, but there's a first for everything. Amazing
