               Poet Song

Hills painted briefly in splendor
   of a sunset song.
Moon-crescent parting twilight
over new fallen snow.
Lovely mountain forests beneath
nestling clouds and constellations...
   all without end.
In this place of infinite calm
and healing peace,
poet and dreamer may
may find fair 'voice'
to witness and honor with
    informed wonder
both Nature's wide wilderness
    and everyone’s story
in grand-immortal, resplendent verse.

Bruce,

You allow me the peace to savor every word you write.  Your poetry comes alive to me in images - and this might be my favorite.  It reminds me of quiet nights with the moon framing nocturnal wonders with soft light.

Beautiful.  Just simply beautiful.

Your friend,
A
