Whisper Thin Wind

Between midnight and dawn
Translucent dreams hover on ice blue landscapes
A gathering of spirits there, halt the forward motion of time
Moments hold the dust of day into remnant of exhale
All is quiet, all is still
All is quiet, all is still
Drawn up in sweep of golden flood, waiting for cue
Here I, the night owl, observant
Wanderer in the midst of moist hum, moist sigh
Impressionable thought waves on the hour
Between midnight and dawn
All is quiet, all is still
But for a whisper thin wind
That leaves hollow a yearning not yet given voice

I like those time-halting spirits ...

and the ending of this 'write' is particularly fine!:

"All is quiet, all is still
But for a whisper thin wind
That leaves hollow a yearning not yet
  given voice"

applause for this 'penning' ...

This poem is a diamond, and not a diamond in the rough, but exquisitely cut! Superb!  ---Art

You add such a beautiful tone of cinematic color to your writings.
Truly beautiful…

Really love this write!!
