Listening to every heart

Beckon becomes thee, Spring…
Yet, you do not.
Tease us, you do – trivial
Days delightfulness
For moments only to
Drape us grey before twilight…

Beckon becomes thee, Spring…

~*~

Only eight more weeks
Before Oysters are non-seasonal.
I hunger for oysters, for
The smell of the sea,
For the sounds of lapping
Waves that call me.

Only eight more weeks.

~*~

Missing my Scrabblemate
Inserting even more words
Into my brain between moments
Of not thinking
Then thinking of needs not met
Then thinking that I shouldn’t….

Missing my Scrabblemate

~*~

Waiting for the seventh love charm
As love children are loving me
Snuggling warm heads into breasts
That will not provide life again
But still yearn youth
And this unquiet need in

Waiting for the seventh love charm.

~*~

Peace for my friends

Too many uncertainties exist
And waste follows emotions
Poe tries to guide and glide another
Into a place called peace
Never knowing if Twain is found
God only knows

Peace for my friends…

~*~

Peace for our World

While our voices cheer Olympian aspects
Given challenges beyond bodies
Psyches in some will go awry
Payback is spent
Inciting hell on earth
While we pray, we pray

Peace for our World.

Enjoyed the read.

Poetry friends....

I thank and humbly bless you all. Even though I haven't written much lately, I still visit and read every day. Hopefully my own responses on your poetry will become more vociferous in the days to come...sometimes when we feel we are out of our own sight, we willingly also become out of our own mind.

But I think I'm back!
