Forever In Your Heart

The frosty glass tipped branches,
leak their icy tear drops of winter,
blanketing the cold, harden ground,
of winters deep dark sleep,

Warm, loving sun, shines her warmth,
calling unto her children to come forth,
riseing up from their seasonal graves,
arise, o' sleepers of winters slumber,

Slowly tiny buds burst up from the dirt,
green fields of lovely tall grass,
blowing to and fro in warm, spring winds,
soft rains of tears fall to nuture them.

Once again, the magic of spring arrives,
beautiful colors, vivid, bold, magical,
from land to land, shore to shore,
smell it in the air, feel it, exhilaration,

A new day, freshness, newness,long-awaited,
time has come and past, winds of change blow,
but today lives on,
and the future is bright, full of wonder!

~Thanks for the inspiration

lovely thoughts and imagery about
seasonal transition and 'awakenings'

love that first line in particular ...

" ...frosty glass tipped branches..."

"...beautiful colors, vivid, bold, magical..."

VIVA Spring and Romanticism!!

A Romantic Heart - my first thought when I opened this writing was 'wow, I want to be in that place'. You write well of spring...

I wish it was spring.
Its been a long, unusual winter for us down south.
Saints win the superbowl, hell froze over and it snowed twice. Unbelievable.

WOW, what a burst of glorious words.  I am desperately waiting for springtime where I am and your words are such an inspiration of hope.  Stunning poesy dear lady.
