Bones remains
shocked and appalled
by the astounding
number of folks
that attempt to
wrap themselves
in holy rags
and then proceed
to pontificate
upon sundry things
they have no knowledge of.

Bones sees them
as a menace to society,
at least to the society
that he is familiar with.

Bobby

Thanks dear Passing shadows,

Those folks have been trying to save Bones and my soul for as long as we can remember.

All too true!
I too frustrated with know it alls.
Rather than preach I try compassion.
Christ and Dali Lama were never bench sitters: sitting in judgement from the side lines.
They got down into the mess and worked to help people.
Friday, I cooked and served lunch for the poor and oppressed at a local soup kitchen.
Good food and a warm heart go a long ways in spreading the message. More so than preaching.
Great story. Keep them coming!

Hello, Bobby. By now you must have an extensive library of Bones' exploits and adventures. I've been doing more reading than writing lately, but I'm working my way back into the groove. More later, my friend.

Thanks Art,

The "Bones" book should be coming out later this year or next year.

I tend to put all my poems into books.

I don't know how I missed your comment back in March.

Thanks Earl,

For bringing this one back.  I think I missed out on the responses back in March, as I was visiting my son and his wife in New York City in March.

Thanks for the kind words on Bones.
