A Lovin’ Touch??

February fourteenth
The day for lovin’ hearts
To tell that one, “I love you!”
Should not be where, it starts.

You have to say those words
Each and every day
And, mean them, when you say it
Not be, some game, you play.

For some, they think, “That’s foolish!”
Not, the “manly” thing to do
But, it’s better than that man
Who cries, when he’s left blue.

Sometimes, just a touch
May say, what you don’t say
But sometimes, those words are needed
To get her through the day.

So, if you really love her
It won’t hurt you too much
To say those three little words
Along, with that lovin’ touch.

How true, dear Abe. And it works also the other way around, when she tells him.

Beautiful reminder.
