Bones could tell you
lots of things.
Things that would make your hair
stand up on end.

Yes,
Bones could tell you,
but he won’t.

Because if he told you
it would bring Bones back
to those events,
events that he absolutely
has to forget
if he is to retain
any semblance
of his sanity.

Yes Bones could tell you,
but be assured,
he won’t.

It would bring him down.

Bobby

Thanks Yann,

What you say about people having an Achilles heel is true.

Life is all one grand, long, Iliadic drama.

Bones is wise enough to know that some things are better left unsaid.  I love the Bones series and always look forward to the next installment.

Hey REJ... As I look upon the faces of 35 new students tomorrow, I have to know that some come with seriously sad and tragic backgrounds. Some of which I know about, others I would just prefer not. I'll help them all the best I can. Thank you Bones for your silent mercy.

best not to remember certain things

If it weren't for vodka, my husband wouldn't know half of what he knows about my past
