A Howl in the Wind

Swirl of tempest tale, sparkles bright its frigid touch
Blown across the frozen fields, drift of white succumb
Iced dollop of dream, cantankerous breath caught short
Shallow in its blue lipped moan, surmount of subtle meadow drone
Caught in the stare of a digital void, sculptures of diamond crust
Call out to the waiting night, call out
All that is pent up inside the storm
Collaborate with wishes warm
Then listen, Listen to the wind
Howl of heaven, steal away the calm
Winter is compelled to carry on

I am particularly fond of the ending lines:

"...listen, Listen to the wind
Howl of heaven, steal away the calm
Winter is compelled to carry on"

this 'write' captures the Winter-essence
well.

"Winter is compelled to carry on"

Great write ThisDiamond!

Reminds me of the movie Groundhog Day.
