Your mouth spun webs of strings
tying my eyes to yours
and gently forcing me to my feet.

You smiled and your teeth were flawless.
you were quirky, imperfect, and wonderful
with your love of dissecting things
and the way you sometimes read aloud.

Your laugh weaved webs,
from technicolor strings
perfectly designed to catch my thoughts
as they fell from my head.

Your fingertips brushed mine
twice in six seconds or so
and you didn't pull away or rearrange
the social building blocks between us.

We were told to close our eyes
all I could see
was your hand in mine.

Beautiful, intense conclusion, to a great write, dear Paul.

Science is fascinating isn't it? ... and human emotions are part of it.

No, don't pout, your poems are not all the same!!!

You are very good.

Love,
Margherita

Paul,

I like how you play string games - and I like your style.
