Confusion

A modest man who grew rich by chance
Did not forget his roots
Could not forget his hunger before
Nor forget the hard won soothes
So he challenged the poor with all that he had
And gave it to anyone willing
But in the end he was destitute
And was murdered for less than a schilling
Yet on his grave a single rose
Left by one to whom he’d pandered
His sacrifice and the lesson of life;
One chance to be remembered

My wife says I never listen... or something like that

Yo Father,

It's always nice to be remembered.

It's so true that lives can be ruined because of money. The sin of ingratitude is largely committed I fear!
And it's also true that even a single rose can mean so much.

Thought provoking and well done.

Love,
Margherita

An interesting read full of truth.
