Moved from a shack to a barn

Just now

And for no clear reason
I said to myself
Silently, mentally
“I feel good”

Which, is unusual

Not the talking to myself part
That happens often enough
It’s the feeling good bit
That gives me pause

Its been a while

Since a sense of well being
Or being well
Has bubbled up to the fore
Or anywhere else

Then, just now

Gone

But, lingering

Moon gentle

Yo Wranx,

It's always important when good feelings linger.  It should happen often.

I remember when... after months of grief... I startled myself with the sound of my own laughter. Sometimes those "whiles" extend too long... but we sure do appreciate the simplicity of goodness when it returns.

And we appreciate your return... it's been too long... but worth waiting for! *S*

I am not only glad to see you, but this poem would surely apply to a lot of people, but they don't express it.

Hope you moved from that river, I am "still" watching your tides.

I did indeed move from that riverbank...more than a decade of shivering winters and spring floods was quite enough. Now, in keeping with that bundle of oddness which is me....

I live in a barn

Actually, a small apartment thing located inside a barn. No, no hay or farm animals.

Just lots of empty space.

This awareness is precious, dear Ed. (I am surprised that this name popped into my mind, after your long absence ... )

The barn home must be very nice!

Love,
Margherita

living in the outdoors beats a room with only 4 walls and music not allowed

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
