Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2010-02-02 05:50 PM

And when, the sweet oblivion
Of sleep, proves to be elusive,
And from the shadows, the nights
Fears penetrate the irrational
Mind, I let my hand glide with
Sorrow, across the silent furrows
Of the bed, to gently come to rest
Upon your vacant pillow.
A blanket of snow has fallen,
Hiding the sins of the city,
From the wilderness of the
Tower blocks, she rises, reborn,
Reaching out with fingers of sunlight,
The circle turns once more,
I survive the longest night.

I loved this part, its very visual. And poetic.

Yes, that sweet oblivion can sometimes be elusive, ARH.

I do like the direction and depth of your more recent work. Nicely done.

I like the old, too.
