Bones can’t sleep,
because the room is very cold,
and so dark.

The only thing in the room
that Bones can see is the green,
luminescent
face of the alarm clock.

Bones has never seen anything
like that green clock before.
It glows green.

In fact,
Bones has never seen
an alarm clock before.

Mom never had one.
Alarm clocks
are all new to Bones.

Bones falls asleep
watching the green clock.

That’s the last thing
Bones remembers
until morning,
at four A. M.

Bobby

Sounds like Bones may as well have been shoved into a corner on Mars.

I don't think I like that green clock, Bobby.

I think he's at the farm.

Thanks dear Alison,

Yes, it was a very different place for Bones.  To be taken from the crowded environment of a city like Philadelphia, and plopped down in the country was traumatic.

Thanks dear Ida,

The green clock was fascinating.  In fact I still have a clock like that.  It helps me sleep for some reason.

Thanks Balladeer,

As Alison says, Bones is now out on the farm.

Thanks dear Alison,

For clearing up the confusion about where Bones is now.  Bones gets around you know.

Yes Bones was on the farm before and has moved on to different episodes i.e. ones of a prostitute nature.  I think of the two evils this may be the lesser.

Thanks Earl,

For reading and commenting.  Bones always preferred the street to the farm.

Being in a Bones mood may cause you trouble as it breaks up the continutity of your current story.  I may end up confusing some readers.  Sorry.

Earl,

I wouldn't worry about that.
