Another year
I'm still tall to some folks
still strong, inside and out
still bullheaded, to a reasonable degree
still dip from time to time
still like beer from the bottle,
though I drink it from a can.

Another year
and I'm still standing
know exactly where I am,
though I've not the slightest
as to where I'm going.
still dancing on the inside
every time a pretty woman touches my arm

Another year
still love my dog
still training and competing
still love the taste of a cigar
still love flirting with old ladies
just to make them feel young

Another year
I'm another year older
still forging ahead
however slowly
I'm still here
getting older, getting wiser
still falling in love
still falling in love with the world.

You made me smile with the affirmation that you love flirting with old ladies to make them feel good. That's great. Usually at a certain age we become transparent. To have the sensitivity to gift them with a smile is a wonderful trait.
