It all decays.
Like a great beast clamouring, the sheer finiteness makes its presence known.
Stone crumble. Metal rust. Tissue rot.

A falling of conventional order runs forth, to clash with modern times.
So close, the rolling smog it bellows is smelt. Nauseating the mass. Sickly, it stumbles.
Steady and dense, it staggers with twitch. Slimy fingers slickly slide to grasp the young orb blue.
Every tower falls. Civilizations one day end. Denial is a lunatic’s game. Chaos walks among us.

Forty story tombs collapse, the cities turned to graveyards.
Instant death from withering wisp. The shrieking blight incarnate trembles.

Now they see the purging planned has gone too far; the killing couldn’t end.
So even gods of men erode in the welting sun.
And the night grows wings to carry off the lingering spirits fell.
As the moon reflects a bloodstained world to the sound of the revenant’s knell.

Very impressive description of a world in decay. Yet beyond chaos, at the edge of our crashed hope, something new will drench life with new force. Nothing dies, everything transforms.

Love,

That's very true. Even the corpse of a world serves to fertilize a new flower. I suspect the Earth won't wander far, so long as there's someone to perceive it. All that dies is humanity's idea of what it should be.

Thank you very much for reading.
