               insufficient words

tonight … there is …

a new star dancing through the ‘Milky Way’
a fresh and gentle Spring-whisper in the
    winter wind
a finer harmony in the night bird’s song
a lovely cadence in the timeless march
    of rolling clouds
a pristine elegance in the moon-tipped
    shadows
a firmer passion in Nature’s  plea
a new forbearance in the human heart

… as Kathleen’s spirit passes by.

You captured the essence of our Midnitesun whose Light on this earth may have set ~ but shall rise forever more in the Universal skies.

There may be "insufficient words to describe all that Kacy was ~ and still is ~ but you have made more than a valiant effort. Thank you, Poet Bruce.

Love & Eternal Light,
Linda

there is, indeed. *S*

And if these beautiful words reach her, I've no doubt there's a smile on her face.

Thank you for this.

I think every single one of your beautiful touching words is felt by dear Kacy as a caress on her soul.

Tremendously poignant.

Lovely!  You can bet she is "lead star" shortly Bruce, and will whip them all into shape up there.  I sure miss her.

Bruce,

Thank you for this poem - it is just right.  I am thinking of you and all who loved Kacy.  And, I am thinking of Kacy ~ dancing in the Aurora, shining as a star, playing with the flowers as she rides the wind - doing whatever she wants to do to remind us that she is still with us.

...a flood of tears in Oregon.  I know she will chide me for so much salt.

I love the spirit in this poem. She always did hear the symphanies of soul.  Thank you.

Bruce, I don't think anyone could express Kacy's loss any better.

Yo Bruce,

Kacy was always very kind.  I remember back in the old "poetry" listsever days when I was writing my book "Muck", she didn't want Muck to get whipped by the farmer.

Beautiful Tribute.

Kacy was one of the first to welcome here many years ago and I always had a kind word to say.
She will be missed greatly.
My prayers go out to all of her (many) loved ones.

I was completely heart broken hearing the news of Kacy's passing. This poem SHDP is totally mending those pains.

Beautiful work,

I believe this time you deserve the standing applause,

... and many thanks to all of you who grandly appreciated Ms. Kacy 'MidniteSun'
as well as the presence of her 'pennings' here on the 'poetry board' ... as I did!
