Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2010-01-19 10:43 PM

Listen closely, quietly through the rustle of the winds,
hear her whispers,
the earth has claimed its' mother,
child of love, of nature, mankind,
a sweet soul, a noble lady.
Her spirit echoes in our hearts,
her strong spirit lives and breathes,
in the trees, nature, that she loved
to write about.
Her lovely soul lights up the night sky,
glowing in the halos of the moon,
she was a warrior, a brave soul,
defending the innocent with her words,
an ambassador to the earth.
Sail upon those winds Kacy, fly through those stars,
sail where you have feared to go before,
rest those gentle eyes that had seen the world,
for all its wonder and beauty,
go to your place, high above the heavens,
into the midnight, light up the universe,
with your golden love,
we will miss you, lady sun,
of the midnight, your words will be in our hearts
forever....

When I hear the whisper of the winds, the sway of the
tree branches, birds chirping, I will think of you,
your heart, and all that it stood for.
Another soul sister has flown, my eyes, water-filled,
cry of your absence,
No amount of words can I write or express,
to honor you, to ease the pain,
a beautiful soul now moves on,
leaving with us, all that she was,
in every word of your poetry,
Her story , left on these pages,
now complete, in her poetry,
you will find her there,
out and about, walking,
through the universe,
whispering to your heart,
leaving her footprints upon your soul.

(Farewell dear sweet poet, you will be missed)
           (For you Kacy)

Kacy was one of the first ones here when I started on PIP, I have been without internet and just got it back today, and to find one of PIPS' great talents passing, is a heart breaker.
I loved her feisty spirit, her environmental passion, she was real, and she was passionate.
one of a kind!
Hugs to all,
ARH~

human being and steward and 'voice' of Gaia! ...

I know Ms. Kacy would dearly appreciate this 'write' !!

Beautiful, says it all.
I didn't have very much conact with Kacy, not the way I had with Marge, but still it's so sad not to see her name here anymore.

Thank you for this lovely tribute to a lovely lady. I know she would have loved it if she could have read it.

Though I have been here and gone ... I did not know about Kacy, .... you certainly found her essence in these words.

God Bless You Both.

"she was a warrior, a brave soul,"

Yes, she was a soldier for peace.

..and a poet for us all.

I'm speechless from your amazing poetic skills. Kacy must love this from up where she lives now.

Yo dear ARH,

This is a lovely poem about Kacy, who I have known for many years.

Some years ago, she had promised to drop by for a visit here in Philadelphia.  It looks like Kacy and I will will have to wait a while to get together.

Love Bobby
