choices

even in a swarm

of odd moments

the unbalanced stir of a young breeze,

one can not help

but lean with the wind

life is about choices

experiencing different direction

life at every edge

another’s season

possibilities

in longing

growing pains

a bending of a reed

sharing directives

strengthening the stock

preparing

for the airing

of life’s

unpredictable

storms

CT,

You write the truth and wrap it in poetry that I enjoy reading.  Thank you.

Very creative and convincing.

I am smacking this right back at the top because it is way too quiet in here and beautiful poetry is getting missed.  So there!

You described me to a "reed" LOL - now I am wondering what graphic you were would have put with this one.  Nicely done.

I have continued to read your work through these years and had many feelings but this one really touched me, for some reason in this night before an ice storm is about to hit us.

Hope you are well.

Thanks Ali for the lift  : )

and thanks to everyone for their read.

This was written back in the fall for someone who's son was caught in a difficult place between two natural forces ... his name is Reed.

I imagine a single cat tail slightly bent at the edge of rippled waters ....
