My own little Icey Oblivion

0 posted 2010-01-17 05:53 PM

I'm sitting here locked inside my head,
Unraveling every little thread.
One last risk to take,
And in the end it all may break.
Can't fight the tears that ain't coming,
Same old rhythm is drumming.
Bleed to know you're alive,
All you can do is survive.
Tell myself I won't miss you,
Though it isn't true.
Remember what it feels like to hold you,
That's one thing I'd love to do.
As I sit here locked inside my head,
Unraveling every single little thread.

Your talent sure impresses me.
Sadness and loneliness speaks to me here!

Hi, Hot Flakes. The angst and inner turmoil reaches out and grabs this reader by the solar plexus. You have an adept way of pulling one right into your world. That takes talent.

May the smile return to your heart and eyes. As 'they' say, "You can't keep a good man down for long."
