Sunday Morning Pleasures

Sunday mornings are lazy days
With a cup of tea and the paper
The beginning of a new week
And a new day to enjoy
Wintery mornings
Round red teapots
Chickadees at my window
Books stacked
Waiting to be read

Sunday morning promises
That there is time for quiet pleasure

You know, ali?
Since I was little and for some years I thought Sunday was the l ast day of the week and that’s why they called it the “weekend.”  After all, don’t we go to church on the “seventh” day?  And if we didn’t go to church  on the propper day, why, that was a “sin.”  When I was not quite as little I learned about calendars and that the last day was Saturday.  This has since seemed weird to me because it seems to me that given the way the world works, Monday is really the first day of the new week. That’s when work starts.  When I make a calendar entry, I call Monday 1 and Sunday 7.  So, since today is Sunday, I would write tomorrow as: 1 folloed by the month 01 followed by the date 18 followed by the time 0930, or 2330.
But since few will ever see my Braille calendar, I’m the only one who needs to know my weird numbering system.  But if by some fluke you do get to see it, they you would know what the numbers mean.
So hopes that you have a good week starting tomorrow, the first day, that is, 1 And I always lookfor ward to visiting with you whether it is 1,2,3,4,5,6 or 7.
Hey … Why don’t people read my poems????
They can’t be THAT bad……

Hey, RDB.
I have decided that Australia doesn't exist!!!
That's because we have a saying here in up over that tomorrow never comes because it is always the next day.  It is already the next day in Australia, So Australia, like tomorrow, never comes therfore Auzie land doesn't exist!
See how simple this is?
Ali likes for me to write silly nonsense, so this is written to pake Ali Laugh.
In fact, I'll write anything, anmything that make Ali laugh --- So laugh.  Start laughing, Ali.

Hey Dadygoose! why haven't I heard of you before, have you been hiding somewhere in the land Down Under.. uh no, that is me isn't it! or if you really want to know I come from the Land of the Long White Cloud.. :-) and you know my Ali-girl does know how to laugh, except when she is being 'Snitty' which according to her Facebook tag she is now 'Snitless' so I'm rather happy about that considering she was 'Snitty' at me in the first place for not being around .. but she is over that now I think! :-) anyway, I like how you want to make my Ali-girl laugh, and I will forgive you for thinking that Australia doesn't exist.. thank goodness you didn't mention New Zealand because then I would have a real big problem of trying to be assertive from Down Under all in the cause of the Land of the Long White Cloud.. hmmm.. I really have rambled on right! but still, one last thing.. I like your style! :-)

Hi RDB.
Actually I am Jaime Fradera then changed to an alias because this computer will not receive any Pip notifications and it wouldn’t accept “Jaime Fradera” or give me a password.  So my friend “created” an account called dadygoose on his computer, sent me the pw, which I was then able to use to finally post again.
Actually I think that Ballarat, Victoria does exist because I met a girl from there.
I feel symptoms of a silliness attack coming on and am thingking about doing a poem misconceptions about Australia.  Since Australia is on the upside down part of the Earth, everything in Auzie Land must be backwards, contrary, opposite, reverse and inverted.  When you throw a boomerang…No, no! when a boomerang throws YOU, it goes forwards instead of coming back …
I don’t know how long this attack of silliness will last so I may do this preety soon, or, ugly later.  Playful hugs backwards.  Goodbye I I mean Hello. I will dispost or unwrite this so that you won’t get it after you hang up, etc. eh eh eh.
Jaime I mean emiaj …
