The world tends to look down on Bones
when they know what he does to live.

That doesn’t matter much to Bones.

When Bones looks in the mirror,
he likes everything he sees.

He just happens to know,
he’s made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26)

Bobby

People always find someone to look down on.  We could drive ourselves crazy caring.  There are times to care, learn and grow - and there are times to let go.  Bones is pretty smart.

Love,
A

How could anyone judge Bones until they have  walked a mile in his moccassins, so to speak.
Self-respect is being able to look in the mirror and liking the person that one sees!
Bones is able to do this ~ and that is what is important. As I have said before, Bones is his own man and he knows that he need not pay attention to what others may ~ or may not ~ think of him!

btw, Bobby, it is very nice to be able to see your face smiling back at me!

For your kind words on Bones.  Bones always feels good about Bones.  He has no choice, Bones being Bones you know.

It's always good to see your face Linda.

When Bones looks in the mirror,
he likes everything he sees.

This kind of "peace with self" is something so many of us never achieve... Bones could teach us a lot. *S*

Thanks Yann,

Thanks for your kind words.

As far as the face goes, "What you see is what you get."

That picture is about ten years old.  I'm even better looking now.

Everyone here in the hood calls me Bobby.

I've always said, "You got to be happy in your own skin." That doesn't guarantee that others will be happy with you, but then, what does that matter if you've got the first half of the equation.

"We'll chase them like rats across the tundra."
