A blind eye to the world
My pen just bleeds my soul
The blank canvass
So it may sit there ignored

I scream to the heavens
Please don't let me become ignored

A memory at the best
Words lost in the wind

Never to be told
Never again

I just stare in vain
My mind raging
Unable to be tamed

I shall go on a quest
Searching for my heart
Find it in a mountain
Damp and the darkest part

There it shall lay maimed
Dead and untouched
No warmth to cradle the flame

No one to see the struggle
Much like the man straining to stay sane

"Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it."

"Hold faithfulness and sincerity as first principles."

-Confucius

Zach,

You are not ignored. Your poetry is too strong and good - and you are too interesting.

Zach, you have not been forgotten.  If anything I think a lot of the poets on this site probably have similiar feelings to you.  Poetry isn`t a popularity contest.  Even if you touch only one person isn`t it enough?

Thank you for your responses.

This was actually inspired by few events that I just wrapped together.
