Who is to blame
for this mess that they've made?

Is it him
with his forked tongue
and slippery smile
Or is it her
with her rosy glasses
and cloudy eyes

Denial like charcoal in her belly
throw away the respect she swallowed
and expose up the power she gave away

Cynicism like butter in his mouth
that won't melt
Cosseted by yet another chicken
who didn't appreciate his coop

So who is to blame?

You can't sell someone something
they aren't willing to buy
And no one can swallow something
that someone won't dish

So perhaps there is blame enough for both

But she's immature
and he's jaded
So I think they'll just be generous
and give it all away

If I don't say it...who will?

There is always enough blame to go around isn't there?  Well done.

Thank you!  What can you say, some things are always in short supply...and some are not.

Yo dear MorningStar,

Well I hope they do give it all away, and I hope to get some.

I like this cute poem.  Keep up the good work.

Love Bobby
