Circulating high on thermals,
beady eyes detecting movement,
now plunging swiftly downwards
meteoric descent,wings pointed
like sharply tipped arrowheads,
the rabbit senses danger
leaping into action,zigzagging
wildly across rough terrain,
talons clutching thin air,
both opportunity and lunch
missed,the buzzard screams,
slowing,then climbs again
to glide effortlessly once
more on invisible currents,
yellow eyes ever vigilant.

Very desriptive, and well observed...there is a wild tension to this that i enjoyed..

Thank you..

I have to admit that I was cheering for the rabbit.   This is very good - it reminded me of the Osprey I watched fishing.

naturegirl totally rocks.

I was cheering for our bird of prey, but next time.

Fall in love early, fall in love often.
