The Goody-Two-Shoes crowd
gives Bones the willies.
They make him nervous.

It spooks Bones
when he has to hide
from his own reality.

Hide and seek
is no fun at all
with scary
Goody-Two-Shoes.

Bobby

Thanks Bill,

The Goody-Two-Shoes crowd is full of deceit, they are unreal, and they cannot be trusted.  Bones has been bit by them in the past.

I never have liked fake people myself. Each person should have one face. Tell Bones to keep being real

Thanks dear Passing Shadows,

I'm glad you are on Bones side.

Of course Bones can't help but be real.  In his trade, it's always-"What you see is what you get."

Bones makes no bones about it.

Bones need not fear the "Goody-Two-Shoes". All he needs to do is shout "BOO!" and they will scatter to the 4 corners of the Earth! lol

I'm afraid poor Bones must get a bit confused at times with all the advice that

he receives, but I'm sure that you will put him right Bobby. Take care.

Thanks Lindsay,

Bones has a rather level headed approach to advice.  He takes all advice that he feels may put money in his pocket, and ignores everything else.

Poor Bones.  He's a brave one, but Goody -Two-Shoes can get on everyone's nerves.  They frighten me too because I think they have misplaced the plot someplace.

Hey, Bobby, just a little word for Bones---for what I know, he'll always rise above the crowd of the rooty-tooty goody two shoes!

Thanks dear Alison,

I like your take on Goody-Two-Shoes.  They can't be trusted for so many reasons.

Thanks Yann,

A Goody-Two-Shoes is a person that seems to be so right in the eyes of the "Right People".  They are almost always faking it, and can't be trusted to do the right thing ever.

it's really sad that you think that is the definition of a goody two shoes..which of course if you look it up on line there are many different definitions.  But  since I co-incidentally used that  phrase to define myself in a response on a poem in the workshop just the other day, I  find it sad that people think someone who is moral and does the right thing is faking it, has not much of a life, or is annoying. I guess I could respond by saying I find it sad that people can't do the right thing by others... without choosing the wrong road to get there.

Bobby - just want to clarify what I said in my response. I'm looking at your term 'goody two shoes', as a crooked politician' talking out the side of his mouth. There are 'goody two shoes' that live a moral life. Not the one that I mentioned...

I read this in a different way.  I think that Bones is afraid of the goodness that is inside of him and that goody two shoes may frown upon him!

to me, a goody-two-shoes is someone haughty, or snooty. high-maintenance..and never content with what they have.bones is lucky to have sidestepped that crowd

Thanks Ateague38,

You have nailed that crowd.

The Goody Two Shoes crowd hates Bones just as much as Bones hates them.
