Can't swim against the current
Try as you might you'll lose
Tire your muscles and slowly give in
Thus is how adult life shall begin

Disappointment matched with memories of a passed life
Sit back and enjoy the tension, cut it with a knife
Just to pass the time just buying your time
Never knowing why

Never knowing why
Nothing goes your way
Try as you might
You'll always lose

Fighting against a current
Feel yourself drowning
Grasp a hold of a hand
Just to slip

Let it go
Breath in
Real slow
And

Float.

"Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it."

"Hold faithfulness and sincerity as first principles."

-Confucius

Perhaps I am mistaken but I interpreted this piece as a struggle with adolescent angst.  I think most of us have to go through this difficult period but saying so does not make it easy.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
