Dawn of the Decade
2010

Strange how timing of a "random" act half way around the world, sets off a chain of events to effect the life of someone seemingly so inconsequential to the world at large, far from the conspiracy of the thoughts of mad men that conceived their scheme and in finding someone to follow their command, sacrificing their life to destroy others and create chaos across a country, effecting the world, politics, business and enticing the paranoia of the masses many of which will die in a car wreck having never been at risk from any terror acts.

paranoia
money spent
policies and politicians
may rise and fall

for an act that can never truly be prevented
only be accepted
such is life
such is risk

we shake our heads
tisk tisk

that none of us are safe
at any time

just accept
that when its your time

it's time

And I, I
a needle in a haystack, life effected henceforth in my destiny, as a man's head was found intact, blown from it's neck stack into a third story building window
his suicide terror act attack.

I, I
just a needle in a haystack, his act changes destiny. Thrown to the wind, in a different direction, for schooling, for training, to teach, English in another country, far from my home, my family, the little that is left.

and ensuing decisions to be made, destinations, all for a quest, a quest of a mate and a home, an end to this roaming to be found roaming on the road alone.

Prague Paris Praha Paris
Where Where
does it matter
does any one care

schools schools
which one
does it matter
who is there

adventures, exploration
before and or after
after or before
to explore

does it matter
one way round-trip
convincing another
the wise thing to do

why buy a round-trip ticket
when you don't know when you'll return
or from where

does it matter
why should one care

but one is cheaper

will there be anyone there

only one or two
the few
that care

just a need in a haystack

and I, and I
destiny thrown to the wind
a city is burning

and very few care
but I
and those scattering

scattered
as ashes
in the wind

Thanks guys. lol @ being well thought out. I usually just write, not a whole lot of thought goes into my writing, just jotting down the brain storm.
