I wanted to print the layers of these days,
let the india seep throughout, stain
the pristine fibers to a rorschach
of distraction. Sorrow sleeps,

though- instead I mold a new
creation: toss the linen, grasp
this malleable, silk clay
in patient palms-

and shape the sun.

Absolutely! Shaping the sun is the only way to fly. Good for you.
