IQ & Drug Test I think each, and every politician Should have to take these tests to see If all of them are idiots, on drugs Because, that’s how they seem to be. The smart ones in our Nation Seem to shun that kind of job So, we keep on voting in those Who, lie to us, and we let rob. We all say, “I’m a democrat!” Or, “I’m independent!” Or , “I’m proud republican!” Well, that’s where our Country went‼ We’ve split our dedications We can’t say, “I’m just American!” We’ve got to fight each other With, that phrase, “I am….” No more career politicians Term limits for them all Just because they are failures Why, should we all take the fall? And all those who get financial aid (Why should we pay for more?) Should at least, take a drug test To prove what those benefits, are for. Get pregnant, have a baby And get, your monthly sum raised up After one, sterilize them all And, have them pee into a cup. Entitlements?Too many! Especially when not earned Just food, housing, and medical It seems we should have learned? We let the big money rule us We leave the poor, get sick and die People who really need us We let go, the by, and by. We need to get back to basics Of Freedom, Love, and Trust For the survival of our Nation These three things, are a must. We need to get back to basics Of Freedom, Love, and Trust Couldn't agree more and this is true for many other Nations too. Much truth in your well written poem. Margherita |

Well, hell Abe, this speaks to me in every single line. We are a very spoiled and doomed nation I feel. I can't possibly see it turning around. My novel, "Margaret and David: A Love Story" speaks of this. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |
