His heart was as still as water
a boxer without the lone shadow
to watch him jab and move
along the sidewalks of people
that stammered past him

He left his heart where
the right side of his chest
seemed to open only when the night fell

Each day
his hands would tremble
at the sound of silence

The place setting
still sitting idle
opposite his
across the table

Her scent
wafting through the air
like the linger of his heart
onto the lonely hills beside his home

The anguish and pure pain is front and center in your piece, Tomer. Enjyed the read.

Sidewalks of people, stammering past... brilliant.  You use such well placed imagery.  I'm never disappointed when I read you.  This shows a world of anguish, all on its own.
