I’ve not the skill to hone my will
To have this world see change
The deepest thought is measured naught
To alter life’s arrange

But still I try although I sigh
To let my thoughts be heard
But life won't stray off path and way
Its answer; not a word

So now I will my mind within
To changes that adorn my way
A seed I throw, a dream I grow
And now a better day

I fell head over heels into these lines. It's lovely rhyme that states the power of thought and dreams even though we get swept into the mainstream currents of events and change daily. I enjoy your poems very much! ~KL
